Remagen Bridge collapses

17th March 1945

The Ludendorff Bridge in Remagen, Germany collapses, ten days after its capture. The Bridge at Remagen was famously seized by the American forces in a daring coup-de-main operation which, due to German blunder and oversight, remained intact.

Wargaming in Glasgow

This years Schiltron has been picked for the 17th & 18th March 2012. It will be a 800pt FOG-Ancients tournament. We are starting later on Saturday for our travelling support to arrive, and we are playing later on Saturday but having Sunday as normal. We have a new venue also. Cost will be £20 entry and an option of £8 for Saturday Afternoon Tea & Sunday Breakfast and Sunday lunch. Armies from all published books only.
