The Guild of One-Name Studies, a registered charity, has announced that its Army Records Seminar will be held on Saturday, 18 February 2012.

A team of experts will be speaking on the day covering many aspects of the Army records: from Iain Swinnerton explaining the Army's organization, Simon Fowler, author of Tracing Your Army Ancestors, on sources and finding information in the archives, Roy Hemington of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission explaining their work and their archives, to Peter Bailey discussing the Army in British India.

Participants are invited to bring details of their studies for display and discussion, making this an interactive seminar.

For more information and to book online, see the 'Event Calendar' tab on the website.
