HMS Ocean has returned safely to her Plymouth base after a seven-and-a-half month deployment which saw her sent to Libya to support the United Nations.
Hundreds of friends and family lined the dockside at Devonport Naval Base to welcome the sailors on board the Royal Navy's largest vessel home.
The helicopter carrier's crew have become an internet sensation after making a video to Mariah Carey's Christmas song All I Want For Christmas is You to celebrate the news of their homecoming in time for Christmas.
Over 1 million people have viewed the video on YouTube and the singer herself Tweeted the crew, saying 'This is the best thing I've ever seen, you guys just made my day.'
The ship's commanding officer, Capt Andrew Betton, said: 'It's wonderful to see everyone reunited with their families. It's really good to be back in Plymouth.'
