Breaking News: Nato-led forces claim to have killed one of the most senior al-Qaeda figures in a weekend air strike in Afghanistan.
Nato have described Saudi-born Sakhar al-Taifi as the group's second-most senior figure in Afghanistan, responsible for commanding foreign insurgents and attacks against coalition and Afghan forces.
Taliban sources in Kunar are denying that he was killed and claim he left the area three months ago.
