Warfare in News
Posted on Tuesday 19th June
Michael Leventhal from Frontline Books is currently taking a sabbatical from his publishing day job in order to build up a food charity called Gefiltefest, providing food education and support for food redistribution charities in England and overseas. It'll develop and assist projects both within and beyond the Jewish community.
As part of the ongoing fundraising efforts, Michael and his wife Rachel are taking part in the Rabbi Relay Ride – a 1,200 mile bike ride from Land's End to John O'Groats, along with 12 Rabbis from the Jewish community. Michael hopes to raise a grand total of £100,000.
Warfare caught up with the team in Yorkshire yesterday on day 9 of the ride, which began on 10 June and is due to finish on 30 June.

In 2011 Michael Leventhal compiled and edited an anthology of quotes, cartoons and commentaries from well-known historians, with all royalties being donated to Parkinsons UK.
