Former freelance defence consultant and expert on the history of armoured warfare Anthony Tucker-Jones will be appearing on the Howard Leader programme on BBC Radio Humberside this Sunday, 24 June at 4pm.

Anthony Tucker-Jones, whose work is regularly published in titles such as Military Illustrated and Classic Military Vehicle, has recently written a new book, Armoured Warfare in the Battle for Normandy, for the popular Images of War series.

The book includes rare images of British, American and German tanks and other armoured vehicles in action as it traces the course of the armoured campaign from the D-Day landings to the Allied breakthrough, and graphic insight into the tank crews' experiences.
