The Duke of Cambridge has almost completed his 3-year RAF posting in Anglesey as a search and rescue pilot and has confirmed that he and his family will soon be moving 'elsewhere'.
It is widely expected that Prince William will return to London with his wife, Catherine, and baby son, Prince George, when his posting comes to an end next month.
The Duke spoke about the future and his and the Duchess' time in Anglesey and his posting at RAF Valley when he attended the Anglesey Show.
An announcement about William's future within the military is expected over the next few weeks, but it is thought that he will return to his regiment, the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals, where he will be able to carry out more royal duties and engagements in support of the Queen, rather than remaining at his base for a second tour of duty or a posting at another base.
The Cambridges' Kensington Palace apartment is expected to be completed later this year and will become their main home, but the couple will also have a country retreat on the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
