Daring will sail from Portsmouth in the new year following over four years of tests, trials and training culminating in a demanding eight weeks' training which tested the ship and her 180 crew members.
[i[Daring completed her Operational Sea Training (OST) off Plymouth and scored a better-than-average 'very satisfactory' from her assessors.
2012 has been dubbed the 'Year of the 45' as Daring, Dauntless and Diamond will all make their maiden deployments.
