The Crysis games are well known for their spectacular visuals, from the original installment on PC through to the sequels which have been available for xbox 360 and PS3.

This third installment is no different. Graphically the game is utterly outstanding and has to be one of the best looking games of this generation! Everything about the game from the lush world, the characters, animation and weapons is top notch and its a feast for the eyes.

Gameplay wise the game is very similar to the second game in the series, but that's a good thing. The campaign is fun and spectacular to play through although it is a little on the short side. The multiplayer is fun, but unlikely to occupy devoted Call of Duty players for too long sadly.

Special mention needs to be made of the game's weapons, in particular the Predator Bow. This is absolutely brilliant fun to use and you'll find yourself smiling from ear to ear every time you pick off an enemy. I also liked the fact that the bow is available right from the start, so no waiting around to use the game's strongest weapon!

Crysis 3 contains a 3D mode and was one of the first games I've played that utilises this effect. I have to say I was blown away and it would be tough to go back to playing the game in 2D, such is the quality of the effect.

Overall Crysis 3 is an exceptional game and comes highly recommended.
